My mom often tells me the story when I was 1 year old drawing perfect smiley faces. HA not sure if I believe her, but super sweet sentiment, mom!

 

Drawing, painting, crocheting, sewing, pottery, I did all the things!! It made sense to me. My hands and my eyes craved it!

So naturally, I went to DBU and got my BA in Visual Arts. I wanted to be a portrait painter! Welp, unfortunately, the term "starving artist" became real for us so I had to get a big girl job!

I started working as an elementary art teacher at Uplift Grand and LOVED it!!! Fast forward 4 years, I got pregnant and couldn't imagine not staying home with my babies! That's when photography was dropped in my lap. It was another way to paint! The lights, colors, composition added with my love of extrovert love of meeting tons of clients!!

6 years later, I have shot over 200 weddings, and living in a DREAM!!!
